The Cowboy Way
Now, I don't find myself watchin' alot of TV, this ole
cowboy usually has better things to do, but I was watching
CMT the other day, and I caught one of those reality shows,
I guess that's what they call 'em.
This
one was about cowboys.
The
Top Cowboy, I think it was called.
I
enjoyed watching those boys.
They
made me proud to call myself a cowboy!
Those boys showed what it means
to be "cowboy".
They
were good at what they did, and they came out of it
showing true cowboy heart and drive.
They
were under a lot of pressure, but they still kept their
"cowboy spirit".
The
rodeo events were great, but my favorite part I think was watchin
‘em do good ole ranch work. Maybe TV isn’t so bad
after all.
Now, the cowboy
lifestyle, well it's rough, and you're going to get hurt
from time to time.
But it is rewarding, and you
can feel good about what you did when you go to bed at
night. None of us is perfect, we all know that (but I
still try to convince my wife that I am from time to time).
But I
don't think there is any better way to go about it then a
good hard days work on the back of a good horse!
