Kacey Lane Roberts has grown up around rodeo, his father is a team roper.  His mom and step-father both rodeo, so it is no surprise that he has been competing and doing so well.  He is a member of the NMJRA (2006-2007), in 2006 he placed 4th over-all in the 16-19 yr olds.  Also in 2006 he was a saddle winner in the CCJRA Circuit Series all-around, pretty good showing considering he didn't start rodeoing until two years ago!

Kacey was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on October 31, 1991.  He has two younger sisters who also compete in rodeos.  One of his grandfathers rodeoed when he was younger, competing in calf-roping, steer wrestling, and team roping; and trains horses in his spare time.  His other grandfather owns a cattle ranch in New Mexico.

Throughout his young life he has had the opportunity to spend time with Stran Smith, Rich Skelton, and KC Jones.  By the by, he was named after KC!
